Dr. Dinesh Sabnis was born on 25 October 1977 in Mumbai, India. He was raised in a supportive family environment by his parents, Subhash Sabnis and Neela Sabnis, who encouraged the values of discipline, perseverance, and dedication from an early age.
Education
Dr. Sabnis holds academic qualifications in physical education, international relations, and political science. His educational background includes:

His academic training has contributed to his work in education diplomacy, global cooperation, and international policy engagement.
Career
Dr. Sabnis has been active in the fields of education, diplomacy, and international relations for more than two decades. His work focuses on promoting education initiatives, peacebuilding programs, and activities aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
He serves as Additional Representative to the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV) for the World Fund for Development and Planning (WFDP). He is also associated with Lazarus Union – India, where he serves in a leadership role as Commander in Chief (CiC).
In recognition of his diplomatic and humanitarian contributions, he was honored with the honorary rank of Colonel (Hon) by the Governor of Kentucky, United States, in 2022.

Dr. Sabnis has contributed to initiatives focused on youth leadership, education diplomacy, and sustainable development.
