Dr. Dinesh Sabnis
Dr. Dinesh Sabnis (born 25 October 1977) is an Indian educationist, sports mentor, author, and non-career diplomat known for his contributions to education, international relations, peace initiatives, and cultural diplomacy. Dr. Dinesh Sabnis was born on 25 October 1977 in Mumbai, India. He was raised in a supportive family environment by his parents, Subhash Sabnis and Neela Sabnis, who encouraged the values of discipline, perseverance, and dedication from an early age.
Education
Sabnis completed his higher education in the fields of physical education, educational administration, and diplomacy. He holds dual doctorates in Physical Education and Education Administration and earned a Master's degree in Diplomacy and International Relations.

Career
Dr. Sabnis has been active in the fields of education, diplomacy, and international relations for over two decades. His work focuses on promoting quality education, peace initiatives, and the objectives of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
He serves as the Additional Representative to the United Nations Office in Geneva for the World Fund for Development and Planning (WFDP), an intergovernmental organization engaged in development and policy initiatives.
Sabnis has also served as the Commander in Chief for the Indian Delegation of Lazarus Union, an international organization that holds general consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
In recognition of his diplomatic and humanitarian contributions, he was honored with the honorary rank of Colonel (Hon) by the Governor of Kentucky, United States, in 2022.
