Mangesh Shinde
Mangesh Shinde (born 27 June 1991) is an Indian entrepreneur and the founder of Swarajshop Handicrafts, a jewellery manufacturing and e-commerce business. He is known for building his brand from humble beginnings and expanding it into both domestic and international markets.

Early life
Mangesh Shinde was born on 27 June 1991 in Khed village, Ratnagiri, Maharashtra, India. He comes from a humble background, where his father was engaged in agriculture, shaping his strong work ethic and determination.
He completed his 10th standard education in his native village and later moved to Mumbai for higher studies. He completed his 11th and 12th education at M.D. College.
Education and early career
After completing his 12th standard, Mangesh Shinde pursued his 13th (D.T.S.S.) at D.T.S.S. College in Mumbai. During this period, he managed a job while simultaneously starting a small candle business, demonstrating early entrepreneurial initiative.
Career
After completing his graduation, Mangesh Shinde entered the jewellery business by selling products on Indian e-commerce marketplaces. However, he faced significant financial losses, which eventually led to the end of his initial business partnership.
Despite setbacks, he restarted his journey with renewed focus.
Swarajshop Handicrafts
In 2015, Mangesh Shinde founded Swarajshop Handicrafts, marking the beginning of his independent business journey. He initially focused on copper jewellery manufacturing.
In 2017, he expanded into zinc and mazak jewellery production in Malad, Mumbai, and began supplying both wholesale and retail markets.
In 2019, he further diversified into Kundan jewellery manufacturing using brass, zinc, mazak, and copper. He also launched an exclusive bridal jewellery collection.
Through his official website, Swarajshop (www.swarajshop.com), he expanded his customer base internationally, serving markets in the UK, US, UAE, Malaysia, and Singapore.
Vision
Mangesh Shinde aims to further expand Swarajshop by launching a dedicated marketplace platform. His vision is to create a seamless ecosystem that benefits both customers and vendors while delivering high-quality jewellery products.
